More than 100 students snag honors

More than 100 Indiana high school students have been honored for their communications work in the annual Woman’s Press Club of Indiana high school journalism contest.

Contest director Elizabeth Granger, a former high school journalism adviser, announced the winners in March. She said the number of entries in the contest continues to rise, right along with the excellence of the work.

Below are the results of the 2018 contest. First place winners compete in the National Federation of Press Women contest, which will host its annual conference Sept. 8 in Bethlehem, Pa.
