High school winners exemplify excellence

Indiana high school students nabbed national and state awards in several media.

Eleven Indiana high school communicators will be honored at the NFPW conference in June.

The annual celebration was held on Zoom this year.

Students excelled in a variety of categories, from writing to graphics to video production.

Indiana first-place winners will compete in a national contest, too.

Their work goes on to compete at a national level.

Woman’s Press Club awarded its top honors, scholarships and other kudos during the June 2 banquet.

A package about sexual assault was named best of all the first-place winners in the high school contest.

Students racked up awards in all media, showing their skills in writing and reporting, visual and editing.

Indiana winners also compete in the NFPW national contest.
