Communications contest under way

The 2017 WPCI communications contest entry session is under way through early next year, so gather your best work to enter for top honors at the state and national levels.

The work of first place winners who are WPCI members will automatically be entered in the NFPW contest to compete with winners from other affiliates, with no extra entry fees necessary.

Details:

  • The early bird deadline is Jan. 23 and final entry date is Feb. 6.
  • Any work published, broadcast or posted in the calendar year 2017 is eligible.
  • You do not have to be a member to enter WPCI’s contest, but you must be a member for your first-place WPCI entry to proceed to the NFPW national competition.
  • Entry fees are: Members, first entry, $20; members, second entry, $15; nonmembers, first entry, $25; nonmebmers, second entry, $20. Members’ early bird entries (by Jan. 23) receive a $25 discount.

Entry categories include writing, editing and page design, photography and graphics, radio and television, web and social media, advertising, public relations/promotion, public relations materials, information for media, speeches, collegiate/education, books and creative writing.
