New Article?

We need to draft a new article that specifies what happens if and when the organization is dissolved. Donna Penticuff suggested the following:

  • Upon dissolution of WPCI, the officers shall, after paying or making provision for the payment of all the liabilities of the corporation, dispose of the remaining assets of the corporation to such organizations organized and operated exclusively for charitable, educational or scientific purposes which at the time qualify as exempt.

The fine print:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. -- First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States
